In conjunction with the CHESS Users meeting at Cornell this summer, we are presenting a 2 day school (June 11 and 12) entitled: "InSitµ (Integrated Simulation Training for mechanics) @ CHESS". The focus of the school is an introduction to the finite element based crystal plasticity code, FEpX, developed by Paul Dawson and his students over the last two decades. Space may be limited so we are encouraging attendees who are most interested in using computational mechanics and materials modeling to apply - especially if they plan to link their results to diffraction data. I thought that you and/or someone from your group would be interested in the school and I hope you will apply. School attendees are welcome to attend the full CHESS Users meeting, which begins June 10.
